The Boris' Savannah Trip Day One Selma and Fayetteville North Carolina

After a couple of false starts we finally get rolling but we hit all sorts of traffic between Delaware and the Baltimore Tunnel. We travel most of the way in and out of showers. We decided to stop in Selma, North Carolina to see all of the Antiques the brochures and billboards tauted.  We rolled into Selma and found a spot to park accross from this 1957bChevy in mint condition.

The Streets had plenty of shops and it made for a nice break after a long drive. Here is a view down the main street. We got caught at the end of this street when a huge Thunder storm hit. It sent us running for the car where we left our umbrellas.

And at the far end of  Town.

As we left Selma we headed for the North Carolina/South Carolina Border. We were going to try and make it to South Carolina but we hit a Giant Thunder Storm. As proceeded through the storm we almost get blown off the road. The storm clears and we get to Fayetteville and call it a night. That night watching TV we find out we drove through a tornado.
