Breakfast is served at 9 AM and we find that the imnn keeper has a full house. The first breakfast
seating was at 8 AM. We opted for the later meal and I think we lucked out. As the first crew was
leaving I heard a healthy political conversation about the US and Isreal. Our shift has a large
family and us so we get the separate table in the living room while the large family is broken up
between the sun porch and the dining room. Our breakfast of blueberry pancakes is tasty and filling.
There was a bowl of granola which I tried but passed on. Doreen likes that stuff more then me.
After breakfast we head to downtown Seattle to take the Duck tour.
The tour takes us from the space needle
and then through the city
past the famous Pike Street Public Market
We get a good look at the Space Needle
Where we go to next after we get off the tour. We get out into Lake Union and dodge all of the drunken boaters heading
up to watch the Speed boats. It is a nice ride around the lake.
We leave the duck area and head to the Space Needle. It is a 30 minute wait and a cost of $28 to
go 520 feet in the air. The view is great but our real treat is the Blue Angels
our guide on the Duck tour
told us that the Blue Angels use the Needle as a beacon to setup their runs. We had to fight the crowd
to get close enough to the edge to get these shots.
We then head off to Pike Street Public Market
The market is just like 9th Street
except much much more. There are four floors. We got to see the fish mongers throw the fish. It was
crowded but I was able to get some video of the fish flying.
This guy
was playing under one of the stair wells.
We leave the Market and drive around the city. We are in search of a Sea food resturant that has
parking. That is something we don't find. We found a parking spot but it was a half mile from the resturant. So we
punch in the coordinates for Dad Watsons in the Fremont section. It is a brew pub that has nore beer selections
then they have entrees.

Before we head to the room I took some pictures. This place was billed as a ground floor unit. What
they didn't say was the ground was about forty feet up.
Tomorrow is our last day in Seattle and we plan to head out to the Wine country before we head home.
