Lots of stuff in the works for the next issue, including the return of a
favorite beer, another new face or two in the brewery and lots of events,
including cask ale in Baltimore and a Brewer's Night at Iron Hill Brewpub.

--September 9 (Saturday)  15th Annual Magic Mushroom Festival, Kennett
Square, PA
Well, they officially call it the "Magic of Mushrooms" Festival.The
culinary shroom capital of the world will host 20 local breweries,
mushroom-themed delicacies, music and more. All proceeds benefit Kennett
Square Revitalization Task Force.

--September 15 (Friday) Firkin Friday @ Grey Lodge Pub, N.E. Philadelphia
A cask conditioned Flying Fish XPA will be tapped at 6 pm.  Good juke box,
tomato pies, mushroom scallion wraps and homemade beer sausage too! The
Grey Lodge is now selling it's fine selection of draft beer to go--bring
your growler.

--September 17 (Sunday) Concert: Wilco, Dar Williams & others, Cooper
River, Collingswood, NJ
Wilco, Dar Williams, Jonatha Brooke and more performing on this bucolic
isle on the Cooper River--with beverages by Flying Fish. Tickets are $15
and children under 12 are admitted free with adult. Plenty of parking and
easy access from public transportation. All proceeds benefit the Newton
Colony Arts Bank.

A four-block area of downtown will be closed as 24 of the region's best
breweries (including Flying Fish) pour samples. There will also be, music,
food, craft vendors, kid stuff and more. Proceeds from the beer festival
benefit Allentown-area charities.

--September 24 (Sunday) Sippin By the River, Phila., PA
This annual riverfront beer and wine tasting festival to benefit
Crohn's/Colitis Foundation. Many area breweries, including Flying Fish,
will be pouring. Admission includes 25 samples. Entertainment all day and
food will be sold.

--September 28 (Thursday) Michael Jackson Tutored Tasting, Teaneck, NJ
The Beer Hunter returns to conduct a tutored beer tasting in a relaxed,

cask-conditioned BlackFish, the gold medal winner at this year's Real Ale
Festival in Chicago.
