Welcome to FlyingFishMail #47 August 2000

It's the hottest summer of the new millenium, cool off with some refreshing
beer news. . .

* WHERE TO SPOT FLYING FISH AT THE SHORE

Before heading down the shore, head over to
http://flyingfish.com/shore.html for the list of where to get the Fish.
Blues fans note: Bubba Mac's in Somers Point has scheduled a phenomenal
concert lineup this summer, along with 3 Fish on draft!

* CATCH US ON TAP IN ENGLAND

They like us. They really, really like us--or at least our beer. Of the
handful of U.S. breweries invited to pour draught beer at what is arguably
the world's best beer festival, in 1999, Flying Fish was our region's first
ever to be asked to present it's wares. The folks there must have enjoyed
it so much, they've asked us back as the region's sole representative again
this year. We'll be presenting Firkins (10.1 gallon kegs) of
cask-conditioned Extra Pale Ale and Farmhouse Summer Ale.

The Festival, held at Olympia Hall in London, August 1-5 is presented by
CAMRA, long-time defender of real ale in England. For more information,
check them out http://www.camra.org.uk/site/gbbf/gbbf.htm

* FARMHOUSE SUMMER ALE BOTTLES ALMOST GONE

Our Farmhouse Summer Ale, hugely enjoyed on draft over the last three
summers became our first seasonal bottled beer and is almost sold out. We
wound up bottling twice as much as anticipated and it flew out of the
brewery. If you're fortunate enough to see any in the store, grab it cause
that's all there is. Draft will be available through September, so you can
still pick it up in the 5.2 gallon mini-kegs.

* TO BEER OR NOT TO BEER. . .

Showing that Flying Fish not only tastes great but has great taste, we're
proud to be the official beer of the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival. For
more information about upcoming performances, head to
