* A CHANCE TO GET FLYING FISH IN THE MAIL
For you folks who don't live in our limited distribution area, we are going
to be the April 2000 featured brewery for The Great American Beer Club. We
can't send beer directly to you, but they can. They will be showcasing our
Extra Pale Ale and Porter, which you may recall, also allows you to blend
your very own BlackFish! To find out more, give them a call at
1-800-CLUB-USA or http://www.clubsofamerica.com
* REAL ALE FESTIVALS--CHICAGO AND PHILLY
If you're anywhere near Chicago, you owe it to yourself to experience the
biggest cask-conditioned beer event this side of the Atlantic. Breweries from
all over the U.S. (as well as Great Britain) will be submitting beers
for your quaffing enjoyment. Flying Fish has sent the Abbey Dubbel,
Blackfish, and Extra Pale Ale. Closer to our home, the Philadelphia Real
Ale Rendezvous also offers a choice selection of these "living ales." For
more info, see the events listing below.
* THE REST OF THE FESTS
Beer festivals are starting to pop up all over the place. Some to plan for
are York, PA (3/11); Manyunk, PA (4/15); Poor Henry's, Phila., PA (5/6);
Pennsylvania Microbrewers Fest, Pittsburgh, PA (6/3); 4th Annual Garden
State Craftbrewers Fest, Waterloo Village, NJ (6/25). For the latest,
