* HOP PHISH INDIA PALE ALE RETURNS FOR 2000
At the request of you hop and Fish fans, we reprised this I.P.A. with its
deep golden color and plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness.
Because of the extensive dry hopping, there's a spicy, fruity hop finish.
Lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor, the HopPhish
is then keg conditioned for extra character. The beer features a
combination of 5 malts plus a percent or two of wheat for an extra creamy
head. The HopPhish also uses five hop varieties and has also been
dry-hopped with a special "hop tea" made of the rare and unique Ahtanum hop.
It will be shipping February 7 to NJ, PA and MD/DC.
This most-interesting winter beer will be available in draft only in 1/2
kegs and the torpedo mini-kegs. Need to locate one? Call us at
856-489-0061.
Cask-conditioned versions will also be out and about.
* LOVE FISH--THE BARRY WHITE OF BEERS!
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, we've again put out a very few kegs
of a special keg-conditioned Belgian Abbey Dubbel dubbed "Love Fish."
You'll be able to find it over the next few weeks at such places, among
others, at the Grey Lodge Pub, Bridgid's, Khyber Pass & PJ McMennimin's in
Philadelphia; the Drafting Room in Exton, PA; and in NJ at Andy's Corner
in Bogota, the Old Bay, New Brunswick, & Mexican Food Factory, Marlton.
LoveFish will also be on tap during brewery tours.
* FEBREWARY FISHWEAR SALE--20% OFF EVERYTHING
Boxers, scrunchies, Fishing Team shirts, long-sleeved, short-sleeved t's--you
name it--it's 20% off (over the web, via phone, or in person) between Feb. 4
and 29. Happy shopping at http://flyingfish.com/WannaWear.html
* FISH MEETS FLYING FISH
Scottish singer Fish contacted us last December wondering if we would be
interested in teaming up during his January US tour. We, being music fans,
and he, being a malt beverage fan, looked at it as a great time. Because
Fish rarely tours, his Philadelphia show at the TLA was the site of the
North American convention of his fans, dubbed The Company who traveled from
as far as Nebraska, Canada, Michigan, England and many points in-between.
O'Neals Pub served as the site of a long afternoon of acoustic music, Q&A
and many pints of Flying Fish. To take a look, head over to
