Spring is here--we can tell by hearing the Spring Peepers in the pond out
back and the geese hanging out by the grain bins. So get out and do
something fun! To help, we've installed a new semi-high-tech events
calendar to make it easy to search out Flying Fish events. This calendar
is so slick, it lists events up through 2004 (after that we may have the
world's first Y2K+005 problem). Anyways, there's lots of good things to do
this month including beer dinners, promos, tastings (including 6 in one
day!), charity events, cask-conditioned nights and more. Partial listing

* ATLANTIC CITY SURF BASEBALL AND FLYING FISH--PERFECT TOGETHER
Flying Fish is now the "official" craft beer of the Atlantic City Surf pro
baseball team. Last year, in its first season, the Surf won the Atlantic
League Championship. Opening day is May 6 and the season runs through
September and there will be plenty of fresh Fish for each game. We'll also be
running a couple of Flying Fish nights at the games so look for upcoming
announcements. If you have a group that would like to organize a Flying Fish
bus tour to a game, give us a call at 609-489-0061.

* TWO NEW BREW SPOTS
Good beer is growing throughout New Jersey, slow but sure. One great spot
down south is the Old Oar House in Millville where they feature Flying Fish
and the Oar House Ale brewed for them by Flying Fish (try it as a half and
half with Guiness). Good food and atmosphere should be even better when
the outdoor patio opens next month (http://oldoarhouse.com). Further up in
the state in Trenton, Trenton Makes is a redevelopment building project
dedicated to providing work spaces for artists. The newly opened Urban
Word Cafe there features many different Flying Fish, good food and friendly
folks (609-989-7777).
