* OUR TRIPLE FERMENTED ABBEY DUBBEL WILL MAKE ONE SMILE

Now you can be the proud owner of a sextet of our finest Belgian-style ale.
Yes, after many, many requests, we've released the Flying Fish
Belgian-style Abbey Dubbel in 6-packs, available wherever you catch your
other Flying Fish. Flying Fish Belgian Abbey Dubbel is an exceptionally
complex beer with many interwoven flavors. This classic-style Abbey beer
features an immense head with a fruity nose and a generous body. Malty in
the middle, the beer features a clean, almondy dry finish and a slight
alcohol warmth. More like a wine than a beer, the Dubbel is
bottle-conditioned and brewed with the traditional Belgian triple
fermentation process, wherein three different strains of yeast are added to
impart the character unique to this style.

Beer writer Michael Jackson (author of "The Great Beers of Belgium") has
praised the Flying Fish Abbey Dubbel as "terrific beer" and "a wonderful
example of the style."

The Dubbel is also available on draft in the 5.2 gallon mini-kegs. Your
local liquor store can special-order them.

* COMING SOON

Here's what you can look forward to in the next few months:

--E-mail list invitation-only party at the brewery in late November (think
turkey time)
--New seasonal beer late in the Fall (think HopPhish)
--Expanded distribution into PA, including Reading (think BeerMart),
Harrisburg and State College
--A couple of unique beer-themed dinners (think blue collar dinner and
white collar dinner)

*  SPECIAL CASK-CONDITIONED EVENTS

Cask-beer season is back in full swing with a couple of local events as
well as one national festival.

--If you're in Chicagoland this weekend, stop on by the Real Ale Festival.
Real ales from throughout the U.S. and England (including 4 from Flying
Fish) will be showcased. For more information, head over to
http://www.mcs.net/~rdan/RAF.html

--In South Jersey, the Varsity Inn in Westmont is moving into
cask-conditioned beer in a big way. Each Wednesday night they will tap an
award winning ale imported from England, as well as a cask of Flying Fish
or other locally produced cask beer.

--On November 13, you can partake at the Friday the Firkenteenth
celebration at the Grey Lodge Pub in Philadelphia, with cask-conditioned
beers from four great local breweries.

You can also find cask-conditioned Flying Fish at the Greene Leafe Cafe in
Williamsburg, VA, Andy's Corner in Bogota, NJ and PJ McMennimin's in
Philadelphia.

If you haven't tried a cask version of our ESB, Extra Pale Ale or Porter,
you're due for a treat. Cask beers are "living" in that they have some yeast
still in them as well as some extra hops for aroma and flavor. Once they're
tapped, they continue to evolve, so that the last pint in the keg is
remarkably different from the first.

*  COOL CRAFTBREW LINK

Back in 1995 when Flying Fish started on the Web, it was one of the first
brewery Web sites (actually we were a Web site and then a brewery). Now,
breweries are sprouting up all over the Web. Flying Fish fan J. Luersson
has put together a site with links to most, if not all, of them:
http://members.tripod.com/~direct_hit/microbrews.html
