* THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT--WE'RE NOW 2 YEARS OLD!

Actually we're 3 years old, if you count when we went online with the Web
site. Without your support we wouldn't have made it to our terrible twos.
Just think, a local business publication recently listed us as the second
largest brewery in New Jersey--right behind the Anheuser-Busch brewery in
Newark. Let's see, they brewed 7 *million* barrels last year. We brewed
about 25 *hundred* At this pace, we'll catch them sometime in the second
week of August 2038.

Every birthday deserves a proper celebration, so watch your e-mail box for
an invite to our next Internet-only tasting party sometime in October.

* NEW STUFF ON THE HORIZON

Here's what you can look forward to in the next few months:
--Belgian Abbey Dubbel in 6-packs (October 1)
--Porter and Dubbel in mini-kegs (Mid-September)
--New seasonal beer late in the Fall
--The Flying Fish non-electronic newsletter (really!)
--Dry-hopped draft versions of ESB and Extra Pale Ale

*  NEW FISHWEAR--EARRINGS & TAP HANDLES

We're now offering cool hand-made Flying Fish earrings for you all you
folks with pierced parts. And after numerous requests, we have tap markers
for sale as well--guaranteed to dress up any Beermeister. Check them out
at http://flyingfish.com/WannaWear.html

*  SPECIAL CASK-CONDITIONED EVENTS

Cask-beer production slowed a bit with the summer weather, but we're
gradually moving into Fall with a couple of events. First, the Varsity Inn
in Westmont is inaugurating its two new beer engines with a special Flying
Fish cask evening on September 23. PJ Whelihan's also in Westmont (the
town that's the new cask beer capital of the East Coast!) will feature
cask-conditioned Fish on October 7. More information below in the event
listings. In addition, you can find cask ESB and Extra Pale Ale at Andy's
Corner in Bogota, NJ.

If you haven't tried a cask version of our ESB, Extra Pale Ale or Porter,
you're due for a treat. Cask beers are "living" in that they have some yeast
still in them as well as some extra hops for aroma and flavor. Once they're
tapped, they continue to evolve, so that the last pint in the keg is
remarkably different from the first.
