*  NAME THAT RAG AND WIN FISHWEAR!

After almost three years of publishing electronically, Flying Fish is going
to dive into a more traditional medium--we're going to publish our very own
Flying Fish newspaper (All the news that's fit to drink!) But first we need
a name. That's where you come in. E-mail Mailto:coolname@flyingfish.com us
your ideas and the creators of the top three names will win a variety of
fashion-forward Fishwear. Send in your ideas soon--we've been
procrastinating for quite some time.

Instead, come see us at the Atlantic City Seafood Festival or the Chester
County SPCA Beer Tasting (see details below).  No pets allowed at the SPCA
tasting--otherwise we'd have some nasty interspecies conflict:	"Damn you
Spike, we had an agreement--I wouldn't drink out of the toilet and you
wouldn't drink out of my pint glass!"

Otherwise, stop by the brewery any other Saturday between 1 and 4 pm for a
free tour/tasting.

*  NJ  CRAFT BREWERS GUILD FESTIVAL

The 2nd Annual Garden State Craft Brewers Guild Festival is taking place
Sunday June 28 noon -5 pm at historic Waterloo Village in Stanhope, NJ.
The site, in the Northwest corner of the state was chosen because it's
equally inconvenient for everyone in the state to get to.  Actually, it's a
beautifully restored farmstead with lots of room to stretch out.  Beers
from 15 NJ breweries, food and lots of music.  Last year's event sold out
so don't put off getting tickets.  For more information, check out

Other New Jersey beer news includes a repeat of last summer's Beers of NJ
series at Krogh's in Sparta starting this Friday and running all summer.
Krogh's will join the ranks of NJ brewpubs this fall.  In the meantime you
can try Flying Fish and other favorites on draft all summer.  23 White Deer

*  MORE BELGIAN-STYLE FARMHOUSE ALE OUT THIS FRIDAY

The first batch of farmhouse sold out faster than we could make more.
We'll be kegging off the second batch this week, so look for it to be out
and about.  If you haven't tried this beer yet, it is a tribute to the
highly drinkable "every day" beers from French-speaking Belgium. It
contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat; it's lightly filtered with
an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a
beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Slightly sharp, dry quenching
finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process.
