*  BELGIAN-STYLE FARMHOUSE ALE OUT MAY 15

Last year's greatly enjoyed summer beer is back for 1998. A tribute to the
highly drinkable "every day" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains
Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. Our Belgian-style Farmhouse ale is
lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian
Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Slightly
sharp, dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash
process. Alcohol by volume: 4.6%; Bittering: 25 IBU; Original Gravity: 1.043

For you folks in South Jersey, your local liquor store is able to order the
Farmhouse in one of our new sixth-barrel "torpedo" kegs (5.2 gallons or
about two cases worth). Be aware, however, that there are only a few of
these!

Keep your eyes peeled to your e-mail in-box for an invite to our 3rd e-mail
only private party sometime in June. You'll be able to sip the 1998
version of the Belgian Farmhouse Ale and get a first-hand look at the new,
improved Flying Fish brewery.

* PRINCE ALBERT OUT OF A CAN AND INTO THE FISH

Imagine our surprise when the celebrity column of the Philadelphia Inquirer
reported this tidbit snuggled in between a picture of Celine Dion and an
update on Don Johnson's latest marriage: "Prince Albert of Monaco, it
seems, is a boutique beer man. His Highness was in Philadelphia to address

the World Affairs Council on Thursday and afterward he retired to Brasserie
Perrier, 1619 Walnut St. for a mug or two of Flying Fish."

The only down side to this whole thing is that the brewers now insist that
people stick out their pinkies when they drink any Flying Fish!

*  FESTIVAL WATCH

Here at Flying Fish World Headquarters the April showers have only brought.
. .May showers. But summer must be on its way--the geese are at the back
door looking for grain and we've got a bunch of festivals on the
calendar.
The section below lists some of them. Others that haven't made it on the

list yet are:
