* THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND THANKSGIVING!

The enduring image of Pilgrims braving freezing surf to land at Plymouth
Rock doesn't explain why they *really* came ashore. The passengers, who
were hoping to land in a more mild Southern climate, were forced to land in
part, due to a shortage of beer.

Most certainly the first Thanksgiving meal was accompanied not by wine, but
with beer. To call attention to this overlooked bit of history, the turkeys
at Flying Fish Brewing Company have put together a pairing of beers with
traditional Thanksgiving fare, recipes and some other trivia. Also, if you
have a recipe to contribute, send it on:

*  VARIETY CASES NOW AVAILABLE

Can't decide which is your favorite Flying Fish beer or which one to try
first? Well, for a limited time in New Jersey and Pennsylvania you can try
'em all in our Variety Case. Get a sextet of each style, including the
elusive Belgian Dubbel, the bottle-conditioned porter, ESB, and Extra Pale
Ale. If your local store doesn't have it, ask them to get it.

These Variety Packs are only available for a short time--unless we can
figure out a less time-consuming way to repack all those cases!

*  SHAMELESS MERCHANDISING DEPT.

By popular request we've reordered the deep-etched pint and wheat glasses.
These beauties have the Flying Fish logo blasted into the glass and are
incredibly stylin'. We also just got in some new long-sleeve t's,
sweatshirts and more. Check 'em out: http://flyingfish.com/WannaWear.html

* NEW LOCATIONS FOR THE FISH

For your folks who live in Central New Jersey, Flying Fish draft is going
to be a lot more accessible. Starting December 1, you'll be able to quaff
some freshly brewed ESB at all of The Office bars as well as Charlie
Brown's restaurants. That's about 27 places total. They will also be
running specials on selected nights. We'll keep you posted in the next
newsletter.
